Associate Director of Community Standards General Statement of Duties:
The CARE Team Coordinator is a grant-funded position and serves as the integral member of the CARE Team in providing individualized case management, coordinating interventions, and connecting students with appropriate campus and community resources. This role is responsible for case management, coordinating follow-up actions, and providing status updates on active cases. Will also serve as a liaison to faculty, staff, parents, and other stakeholders seeking consultation or assistance from the Care Team. The position contributes to campus-wide awareness of CARE Team services through training, presentations, publications, and data reporting.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of students using a student-centered approach to support success and well-being. Evaluate Care Team referrals and recommend relevant interventions and support strategies. Initiates outreach to students to assess needs, coordinate support, and connect them to appropriate resources. Maintains accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in designated case management and University systems (Maxient, Early Support, and Excel) Provide education and training to the campus community to promote awareness of the CARE Team and strengthen coordinated support for students. In collaboration with the Associate Director of Community Standards, track trends using case management data to identify gaps and areas of improvement. Develop and implement surveys to identify process improvement measures. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in case management, crisis intervention, or student advocacy, preferably in a college/university setting. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences (i.e., students, parents, faculty, staff, administration and community).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Experience with Maxient and Early support case management software. Knowledge of FERPA guidelines, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
