Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Job Coach to empower individuals with diverse abilities to achieve their employment goals. In this vital role, you will serve as a dedicated mentor, trainer, and advocate, guiding clients through workforce development programs and helping them build the skills necessary for meaningful employment. Your energetic approach will inspire confidence and foster independence, ensuring each individual receives personalized support tailored to their unique strengths and challenges. Duties Develop individualized employment plans by assessing clients' skills, interests, and barriers to work Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to enhance job readiness, social skills, and workplace behavior Facilitate training sessions on workplace expectations, soft skills, and technical competencies using Microsoft Office tools when appropriate Support clients in navigating employment processes, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies Collaborate with employers, community agencies, and support networks to create inclusive workforce opportunities Conduct case management activities to monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as needed Advocate for clients' needs within the workplace and community settings to promote sustainable employment Requirements Must have proven experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders Must have a Valid Driver's License Knowledge of employment & labor law as it pertains to disability employment rights Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations Strong understanding of social services, coaching, mentoring, and training & development principles Excellent written communication skills for documentation and client correspondence Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and planning purposes Ability to manage case files effectively while maintaining confidentiality Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Job Coach and be part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming lives through workforce development! Pay:
$17.15 per hour
