Foster Parent Recruitment, Retention & Admissions Coordinator Hearts & Homes for Youth, Inc. is seeking a motivated, organized, and community-focused professional to join our Foster Care team as a Foster Parent Recruitment, Retention & Admissions Coordinator . This position plays an important role in recruiting and supporting foster parents, maintaining foster parent files in accordance with COMAR requirements , coordinating training and certification activities, and reviewing referrals to identify appropriate foster home placements. Key Responsibilities Recruit prospective foster parents through community outreach, engagement, and social media Conduct initial walk-throughs of prospective foster homes to ensure minimum COMAR and fire inspection requirements are met Coordinate and facilitate quarterly pre-service training and monthly in-service training Manage the onboarding process for new foster parents Maintain foster parent records and required documentation in Opus Electronic Health Record Track and maintain foster parent recertification documentation Facilitate Home Studies and ensure completion within required timelines Review youth referrals and identify appropriate foster parent matches Ensure all required pre-placement documentation is received prior to placement Perform additional duties as assigned by program leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field required Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred , particularly within community organizations Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with prospective and current foster parents Knowledge of or ability to learn COMAR foster care requirements Strong attention to documentation, deadlines, and regulatory compliance Join Our Mission If you are passionate about strengthening families, supporting foster parents, and helping children and youth find safe and nurturing homes, we would love to hear from you. Pay:

$50,573.67 - $60,905.93 per year
