Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a caseload of clients (mix of youth and adults). Provide in-person, community-based mentoring through weekly sessions with each client and extra sessions for clients who need additional support in homes, schools, or community locations. (6) visits of one hour per month for clients over the age of 18 & (3) visits of one hour for clients under the age of 18. Report to the office at least one hour four times a week. Assist assigned clients with goal planning and achievement. Attend bi-weekly virtual or in-person supervision with assigned Rehabilitation Specialist or Clinical Director. Ensure that assigned client files are current and complete with appropriate consents and documentation to include BIRP notes and monthly summaries. Encourage and facilitate peer-to-peer tutoring and support where appropriate. Review and ensure daily completion of assignments and follow-up as necessary. Administer and document feedback surveys provided by the Company. Refer clients to technical, mental health, or additional resources, as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. At least 21 years old. Experience in a mental or behavioral health setting through teaching, coaching, volunteering, or another similar environment is a plus. Interest and passion for working in the behavioral health industry Technology and online communication: Comfort using Zoom, Google Hangouts, or WebEx and online learning platforms to facilitate learning Ability to manage and facilitate youth cohort communications via group video conferencing, email or instant messaging app, and one-on-one mentoring relationship Mature, self-starter with the desire and ability to initiate and execute
Additional Requirements:
Access to a computer or laptop with a microphone and camera and high-speed internet capabilities Ability to pass a mandatory criminal background check and drug screen Ability to create, maintain a schedule based on client availability weekly Ability to report to work regular work hours, weekend, evenings and some holidays, Monday - Sunday
