Coldwater High School This is a part time position. Our mission, at Branch ISD, is to ensure life-long learning opportunities to students and citizens in our constituent districts. We will provide leadership in cooperation with other local, regional, and state educational service agencies, as well as the private sector, to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of high quality programs and services. Branch ISD Adult Education provides students with the academic, technical, and personal skills essential to be successful in a changing and diverse society. Our goal is to help adult students build on their personal and professional experience to gain knowledge and skills needed through our various course offerings and programs. Education and/or certification Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred. Valid driver's license required for travel between program, community, and employer sites. Experience Preferred experience in adult education, career coaching, workforce development, counseling, case management, or related participant support services. Preferred experience working with adult learners, employers, and community partners. Job Duties Meet individually with participants to assess skills, interests, educational needs, barriers, and career goals and to develop personalized educational and career plans aligned with high-growth/high-demand sectors. Monitor participant progress and participation through scheduled appointments, follow-up contacts, referrals, Adult Learning Plans, and other required program documentation. Serve as a barrier navigator by identifying participant needs and connecting participants with appropriate community resources and support services. Coordinate referrals and provide information regarding job-skill workshops, job-search resources, employment services, job fairs, career-specific training programs, and other career development opportunities. Establish and maintain relationships with local employers, community organizations, workforce partners, and other agencies that can support participant educational and employment goals. Work with employers and partners to expand job placement, paid internship, work-based learning, and related employment opportunities for program participants. Support career and college preparation by connecting participants with appropriate resources and helping them identify actionable next steps toward education, training, and employment goals. Develop and facilitate group learning opportunities, guest speakers, career/college preparation activities, and other activities that strengthen career readiness and participant persistence. Collaborate with the Adult Education Director, regional Success Navigator, instructors, and other partners to coordinate participant supports and align educational pathways with regional workforce needs. Maintain accurate and timely records of participant contacts, progress, referrals, plans, and participation in accordance with Branch ISD, Adult Education program, and applicable grant requirements. Participate in required staff meetings, professional learning, program coordination, employer/community outreach, and grant-related activities. See the attached job description for more details.
