Position Summary:
The TeenQuest Facilitator I team members will work directly with high school students, providing support and positive relationship building techniques, while facilitating core employment competencies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Deliver established curriculum in an engaging, student-centered manner and modify activities as needed to support Become knowledgeable of the TeenQuest program modules and apply learning objectives Administer required program components Participate in pre and post meetings with site facilitation team members Ability to utilize crisis management strategies Assist with maintaining and managing site facilitation Practice effective time management and conflict management techniques with site facilitation team members and students Attend bi-weekly meetings Perform other duties as assigned by the
Senior Manager Requirements:
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities :
Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred, business, education or related program Minimum of three (3) years' career experience, workforce or youth development Must be passionate about the development and well-being of teens Must be flexible, dependable, and stable. Must be able to handle a high stress environment and still interact appropriately Must be available to arrive at a program site as early as 2:30p.m. Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with large and diverse groups of students and adults Able to manage multiple priorities, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic Strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills Must be able to read, write, and type using Microsoft Word Should be comfortable using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and can participate in virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and/or Google Meet Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass a criminal history background check
