Job Description:
A Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist, under general supervision and review of Clubhouse's Clinical Services Supervisor, provides leadership to assigned work unit including organizing, scheduling, and implementation of the work ordered day. A Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist also educates and supports Clubhouse members in interpersonal skills, independent life skills, teamwork, following directions, and staying on task. A Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist participates with Clubhouse members in the person-centered-planning process, including completion of the Clubhouse skills assessment, goal recommendation form, and in consultation with the primary workers and performs related work activities as assigned.1. Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, or other Human Service field; AND have at least one (1) year of experience in working with individuals who have a mental illness or intellectual/developmental disability diagnosis; OR Have a High School Diploma or GED; AND at least two (2) years' of experience in treating or working with individuals who have a mental illness or intellectual/developmental disability diagnosis. 2. Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment. 3. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification. Preferred but not Required 1. Bilingual candidates highly desired. 2. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued. 3. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
An employee in this class performs generally sedentary work activity requiring occasional lifting of objects weighing thirty-five (35) pounds or less.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS A
Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist works both within the Clubhouse program locations of HealthWest and in a variety of community settings as activities require.
