Job Description

Student/Carreer Services Coordinator The Student/Career Services Coordinator supports students throughout their academic journey by providing guidance in academic planning, career exploration, job readiness, and transition support. The role ensures students have the resources, support, and preparation needed to successfully complete their program and enter post‑secondary education, training, or the workforce: Student Services
  • Provide individualized academic and career advising, assist students with setting academic and career goals, assign/Distribute Vouchers for FAA Written Exams, monitor attendance, progress, and performance, development & Rollout
  • attendance and academic awards, qualify for student grad tool kit & allowance, maintain advising notes and documentation, maintain Job Board for part-time/during school work, input/Collaborate on Student Newsletter, track Students from Pre-Orientation thru Graduation, other associated student support related tasks from time to time as directed.
Career Services:
Assist with résumés, cover letters, and job applications, prepare and complete Graduate Clearance Documentation with students in their 7th (next to last) class and prepare/provide individualized post graduation employment assistance, conduct job readiness workshops, coordinate internships, job shadowing, and mentorships, alumni outreach/tracking. Facilitate workshops and events related to success and career readiness, support school-wide events including Orientation, Career Fairs and Graduations.
Hours:
Part-time to possible full-time as the population grows. Typical Schedule
  • Monday
  • Friday 9 am
  • 1 pm; Monday
  • Friday 1
  • 6 pm or a Monday
  • Friday 10 am
  • 2 pm
Education:
Some college preferred, workforce development, or related field.
Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Student‑centered and approachable.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred:
  • Experience in college/university setting
  • Background in student services, admissions, counseling, or other support services in higher educational setting
  • Familiarity with the aviation profession and/or aviation training
  • Bilingual skills also a plus
Part Time:
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
