Chisago County Schools' Life Work Center is looking for a full-time Transition Job Coach. This position is 37.5 hours per week, school year, with benefits. The Life Work Center is a life skills and work exploration program for young adults with disabilities ages 18-21. This program is located in the North Branch Area Middle School.

Job Summary:

Provide support to the special education staff and students by facilitating educationally relevant activities in the five areas of transition: Employment, Post Secondary Education and Training, Home Living Skills, Community Participation and Recreation/Leisure.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Experience working with students with disabilities; Experience with problem solving and conflict management; Basic technology skills

Qualifications Desired:

CPI, Boys and Girls Town Behavior Model Training; CPR and First Aid training

Salary:

$18.62 to $24.67 per hour depending on qualifications and experience North Branch Area Public Schools is a growing district, enrolling approximately 2,700 students and is located 40 minutes north of the Twin Cities on Interstate 35.
