Independent Living Services of Central Minnesota is hiring a Full-Time Designated Coordinator (DC) Float to join our team. We're looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and ready to support both the individuals we serve and the team around them. You don't have to come from one specific career path to be successful in this role. If you have experience in human services, direct support, caregiving, mental health services, disability services, senior services, social services, or another related field , your experience may be a great fit. What Is a DC Float? The DC Float is a unique position that combines direct support and coordination responsibilities . Some days you may work directly with individuals in the community. Other days you may assist with documentation or coordination responsibilities. About Us Independent Living Services of Central Minnesota has been serving the St. Cloud area since 2020 . We provide individualized support to people who live independently and may need additional assistance with everyday activities, community involvement, and personal goals. We believe every person has different strengths, goals, and support needs. Our role is to meet people where they are, encourage independence, and help them build the life they want in their own home and community. What You'll Do As a DC Float, your responsibilities may include: Provide direct support based on each individual's needs, preferences, and goals Help individuals build independence and participate in their community Assist with appointments, errands, activities, and other daily needs Provide transportation when appropriate Provide coverage when an individual needs staff support Complete accurate and timely documentation Assist Designated Coordinators with required paperwork and documentation Communicate with individuals and their teams as appropriate Assist with coordination responsibilities and special projects Participate in the on-call rotation Schedule This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with some flexibility based on the needs of the people we serve. Monday through Friday Typical hours between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Approximately 32 scheduled hours per week Opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week based on position needs Some scheduling flexibility available On-call rotation required Who Can Be Successful in This Role? Option 2: Associate degree in a human services-related field and at least two years of full-time direct care experience. Option 3: Diploma in a human services-related field from an accredited postsecondary institution and at least three years of full-time direct care experience. Option 4: At least 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities, plus four years of qualifying full-time direct care experience under appropriate supervision. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance Ability to travel within the St. Cloud area Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds Not sure whether your education or experience qualifies?
