Job Description This position exists to increase enrollment at Central Lakes College, specifically in the College's Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs. The position is an integral part of the Central Lakes College cross-functional admissions/advising department and serves to coordinate and perform recruitment activities and events.
Salary Range:
$24.40-35.30/hr, $50,947-73,706 annually Minimum Qualifications Two (2) years of experience in college recruitment, enrollment services, or related field. Master's degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; or Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience. Communication, both oral and written, in individual and group settings via phone or in person, sufficient to motivate students and influence behavior or turn a situation around and work with colleagues in a cooperative and respectful manner. Ability to maintain an active, valid, and applicable Class D (basic) driver's license. Preferred Qualification Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as counseling, education, higher education, or human services. Experience with college recruiting or sales. Ability to work independently within the parameters of the position. Knowledge of post-secondary program majors, course, and graduation requirements, including current information on the job market trends and employment opportunities. Ability to travel to other locations. Organizational skills sufficient to plan and coordinate work activities and to prioritize, schedule and report on work projects. Ability to relate to individuals and groups of students through the use of a variety of communication techniques (i.e., presentations, workshops, face-to-face, etc.), helping skills, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully with a diverse population.
