The Career and Retention Advisor supports student success, persistence, and completion by providing comprehensive academic, career, and retention advising to prospective and enrolled students. The position assists students with educational and career planning, registration, program requirements, and connection to appropriate College resources and academic support services. The Advisor monitors student progress, collaborates with faculty and other College personnel to address barriers to student success, and provides career exploration and guidance to help students make informed educational and career decisions. The position also supports student recruitment, orientation, and outreach initiatives, with particular emphasis on Career and Technical Education programs, while fostering student engagement and progression toward graduation.
