As the Career and Student Experience Specialist , you will: Coordinate state, national, and international experiential learning opportunities, including internships, professional experiences, educational travel, and other career-connected activities. Provide career and professional development support that prepares students for high level internships, employment, graduate study, and professional practice. Develop relationships with employers, alumni, professional organizations, and other external partners to expand career and experiential opportunities for students. Collaborate with faculty, UNL Global Affairs and other University offices, as well as College partners to coordinate experiential activities and connect students and faculty with appropriate resources. Track and communicate career and experiential learning activities and outcomes to support College priorities and program improvement. Master's degree in a relevant field may substitute for experience. Demonstrated organization, time management, verbal and written communication skills. Experience with public speaking. Experience working collaboratively with and coordinating programs, projects, or events for multiple stakeholders. Ability to learn and translate extensive career information, policies, and procedures. Ability to both collaborate and self-manage. Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred but not required: Knowledge of career pathways and professional practices within fine and performing arts or other creative disciplines. Experience developing or coordinating internships, experiential learning, career development, or other educational/professional activities, domestically or internationally. Experience building relationships with employers, alumni, community organizations, or other external partners. Experience working in higher education. Pre-Placement Driving Record Review Required No Physical Required No Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
