Job Description

Job Coach for Center for Learning and Independence at Manasquan High School 2026-2027 School Year Assists the Special Education Teacher, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Transition Coordinator in providing instruction for adolescents and young adults with behavioral and cognitive disabilities in the classroom, community, and work-based settings. This position is dedicated to increasing social skills, functional skills, self-regulatory skills, and promoting independence. This position will work closely with the teacher, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Transition Coordinator in helping the students decrease maladaptive behaviors that prevent the student from developing to his/her full potential while systematically increasing socially appropriate behaviors.
Qualifications:
Minimum 60 college credits. ABA experience preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Terms of Employment:
7 hours per day, 184 working days per year (school calendar, September - June) Position is subject to the conditions of the Manasquan Education Association collective bargaining agreement.
Annual Salary Range:
$35,742 to $36,908.
General Description of Benefits:
Employee-only medical, prescription, and dental benefits subject to requirements and employee contributions under Chapter 44, as applicable, or payment for insurance waiver ($2,500 single). Full family benefits included after completing three years of employment. Enrollment in NJ Public Employees' Retirement System.
