A Career Counselor works with adults of all ages to plan career choices and access the education and training needed to support a career. Gives skills assessment and aptitude tests to clients. Provides job search assistance or training for general workplace skills. Provides referrals for workplace literacy, academic or job training programs, or direct job referrals.

Monday - Friday (time), 40 total hours/week
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, assemblies, etc. Assist in the programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes and evaluation of services to the target population. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field, experience in the provision of prevention related programs. ? Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience. Minimum three years' experience working in non-profit, social service environments in development or implementation of community-based services, prevention programs, or any other human service programs. Experience in implementing evidence-based practice models and other materials related to training, coaching according to policies and procedures. Valid New Jersey driver's license, safe driving record. Vehicle with current insurance and valid registration.
