The Employment Training Specialist reports direct to the Supported Employment Manager. The position location is statewide.Salary:
Starting at $20.92 and increases with education/experience. What Devereux Looks for inYOU:
Identify the individual's interests in order to facilitate a job/career of choice. Identify the individual's skills and talents using functional community based assessments in order to facilitate a job/career of choice Identify workplace supports that assist the individual with a disability in becoming employed and/or maintaining employment Identify and Negotiate customized jobs for individuals with disabilities. Address employer concerns about hiring and supervising people with disabilities while maintaining the confidentiality of the job seekers Use data collection techniques to document effectiveness of workplace supports and to guide fading from the job site Provide or facilitate both on and off the job supports to help increase the odds that the individual with a disability becomes successful at work Collect and analyze performance data to assist with making decisions about the effectiveness of work place supports. As needed, modify supports and/or develop new ones Identify and develop natural supports in the workplace. #Sponsored Qualifications:
You'd make a great ETS if you have: Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. Have a valid non-provisional driver's license. Be 18 years of age or older (required). Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays. Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals. Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
