What to Expect Tesla is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic Accommodations team. The Associate ADA Partner position will be responsible for supporting North America and other regions with specific functions aligning with ADA administration, engaging employee in the interactive process to review accommodation request, action daily tasks, participation in strategic and innovation sessions, and other case management work. What You'll Do
Case Management & Interactive Process:
Provide end-to-end case management support, consult and advise HR Partners and People Leaders, and provide timely solutions for employees and candidates
Manage complex workplace accommodation cases
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure compliance
Documentation & Systems:
Maintain accurate, confidential records in case management systems. Execute changes in HRIS system, case management system, and coordinate with applicable departments
Partnership:
Act as a liaison between our third-party administrators, HR, EH&S, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, employees and other departments as appropriate
Compliance:
Interprets and administers ADA regulations in accordance with applicable federal and state laws (FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, USERRA, Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), etc.)
Reporting:
Create or manage ADA status reporting to stakeholders What You'll Bring
1+ years of Workplace Accommodations and Leave of Absence
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
Knowledge of federal and state disability laws, specifically ADA, FEHA, ERISA, ACA, PWFA, and FMLA
Ability to analyze, problem solve, think critically, organize and manage multiple priorities, and effectively follow up in a fast-paced environment
Experience with high volume and complex case management
High attention to detail and customer service oriented
Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills desired and HRIS or ticketing experience a plus
