Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Job Coaches to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in achieving success in community-based employment. As a Job Coach, you will provide one-on-one training and guidance at job sites, helping individuals learn job duties, develop workplace skills, and become as independent as possible.

This is a field-based position where you'll spend most of your time visiting client job sites, building positive relationships with employers, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of the individuals you support. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one job coaching and workplace support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Teach job duties through demonstration, modeling, observation, and positive reinforcement. Help individuals develop workplace skills, confidence, and independence. Monitor job performance and provide constructive feedback. Assist individuals with workplace communication and professional behavior. Support individuals with travel training and transportation to and from job sites when needed. Maintain regular communication with employers, supervisors, and the support team. Complete accurate service documentation and progress notes after each visit. Manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 individuals. Gradually reduce on-site support as individuals become successful and independent in their positions. Ensure services are delivered using a person-centered approach while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. At least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned borough.
