The Employment Specialist visits adults with intellectual disabilitiesat their worksites throughout Queens, NY and provides coaching and encouragement so that they maintain their jobs or learn skills that will help them get promoted! The Employment Specialist's key responsibilities include: Helping individuals navigate the workplace culture and relationships. Evaluating work performance and providing ongoing feedback. Teaching, role-modeling and ensuring appropriate work-related behaviors. Serve as a liaison between the individual, their support team, their employer and ANIBIC, while maintaining professional, positive relationships with employers. Document progress and services provided in accordance with regulatory requirements.
