Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Strength & Conditioning Specialist serves as a coach within a semi-private functional training environment. This position is responsible for coaching individuals and groups, developing and implementing training programs, conducting fitness assessments, and fostering a positive, high energy training atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Coach clients in semi-private and small group training sessions Design, implement, and modify individualized and group workout programs Conduct fitness and performance assessments Monitor client progress and provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and support Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong member engagement Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of training equipment and facility Assist with scheduling and client communication as needed Utilize Mindbody software for scheduling, session management, and payment processing Support high school strength and conditioning programs as assigned Collaborate with the Lattimore Fitness team and leadership to ensure a positive client experience Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the
Director Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, Kinesiology, or related field preferred Nationally recognized certification preferred (CSCS, SCCC, NASM, ACSM, USAW, etc.) Previous coaching or personal training experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to coach, motivate, and engage clients of all fitness levels Organized, professional, dependable, and team-oriented Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to demonstrate exercises and movements to clients Ability to lift and move fitness equipment as needed
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
