Individual's Community Job Site & Teammates Center Requirement:
Female applicant preferred/required due to the specific needs of the individual served Position Summary Teammates Center LLC is seeking a dependable, patient, and motivated Female Job Coach to provide individualized employment support to one adult with a developmental disability at her community-based job site. The Job Coach will work directly with the individual throughout the workday to help her successfully perform her job duties, build independence, maintain appropriate workplace behaviors, and develop skills that support long-term employment. This position requires someone who is dependable, encouraging, professional, and comfortable providing individualized support while maintaining the individual's dignity and independence. The Job Coach will also be responsible for providing transportation for the individual as needed, including transportation to and from her work site Duties Safely operate a vehicle to transport individuals to their jobs. Provide hands-on assistance and job coaching at worksites to help individuals learn and perform job tasks. Model appropriate workplace behavior, communication, and professionalism. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, families, and employers. Ensure client safety at all times during transportation and job coaching activities. Assist individuals with time management, task completion, and staying on schedule. Offer mentoring and coaching to promote social skills, communication, and self-advocacy Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and service plans in compliance with organizational policies. Qualifications CPR/First Aid certification (will train) Background check Valid driver's license DOT physical Valid driver's license and auto insurance Experience Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities not required, but is helpful. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
WE WILL TRAIN
Ability to safely operate vans or larger passenger vehicles Comfortable working with individuals with disabilities and varying support needs Strong time management and dependability Ability to pass background check, DOT physical, insurance check, and any required screenings
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.5 per week
