Employment Support SupervisorESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist individuals with finding a position in a career of their choice, by developing a resume and job plan and assisting with the job search and the interview process
- Will be training and supporting individuals with disabilities individually in various skill areas focusing primarily on advancing the individual's path to employment.
- Contact potential employers to determine their personnel needs and arrange interviews for job seekers.
- Maintains atmosphere of respect and encouragement in training programs; sets up, implements, maintains and factually supervises tasks in assigned area as necessary; insures safe and healthy environment for individuals and staff.
- Participate in developing a plan for individuals; assist in establishing outcomes and setting up programs to accomplish objectives" prepares plans for instructional activity; obtains necessary materials and equipment for training.
- Demonstrates knowledge of a broad range of occupations and resources.
- Address any employment related concerns identified by the employer, individual, referring party or other team members.
- Monitor and processes records and reports; monitor the use of PPE's and ensure that all OSHA standards are met, if applicable.
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS
:- Negative Results of a Drug Screening
- Satisfactory Results of Local and State Records Background Check
- Valid State Driver License with less than 6 points on Drivers Abstract Record
- Satisfactory physical examination
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Minimum of one year experience in Vocational Rehabilitation
POST HIRE REQUIRED TRAINING/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION/LICENSURE
- First Aid/CPR
- Maintain Valid Driver's License with less than 6 points
- Completion of all DODD required training
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Pleasant and professional communication skills to all team member and customers
- Detail oriented on all documentation
- Can think outside of the box and love to learn/share new ideas and work to see them practice
- The ability to deal with sensitive people in time of need
