Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Job Coach to empower individuals with diverse abilities to achieve their employment goals. In this vital role, you will serve as a dedicated mentor and advocate, guiding clients through workforce development processes, enhancing their skills, and fostering independence. Your energetic approach will inspire confidence and motivate clients to reach their full potential in a supportive, inclusive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals from underserved communities, including those with developmental disabilities and autism. Duties Develop personalized employment plans tailored to each client's strengths, interests, and needs, ensuring alignment with their career aspirations. Provide coaching on job readiness skills, including interview techniques, resume writing, workplace etiquette, and social skills. Support clients through the entire job search process—from recruiting and interviewing to onboarding—building confidence at every step. Collaborate with employers, community organizations, and workforce development programs to identify employment opportunities and facilitate placements. Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to monitor progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as necessary for continued success. Maintain detailed case management records, documenting client interactions, progress reports, and employment outcomes. Deliver training sessions and workshops on social services topics such as addiction counseling, disability awareness, and cultural competency to enhance client support strategies. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism in educational or social service settings. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliance during job placement processes. Background in workforce development programs or social services that support underserved communities. Experience in coaching, mentoring, recruiting, training & development within diverse populations. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, interviewing, case management, and client advocacy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities while respecting individual differences. Prior experience in addiction counseling or social work is advantageous for supporting holistic client needs. Join us as a Job Coach and become a catalyst for positive change! Pay:
$22.00 - $28.51 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
