Job Description

Job Title:
Adjunct - Nursing Academic Skills Specialist Works with nursing students to improves nursing study skills habits; critical thinking skills to improve reading test items; and supports the development of a self-organization plan to improve study habits and reduce test anxiety. The adjunct for the Academic Skills Specialist position models professional behavior with all student interactions. Employs evidence-based instructional strategies and learning activities when coaching students for the improvement of their academic skills including testing strategies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree; education focus required. Previous experience in coaching students in academic skills preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
