Now Hiring Part-Time Job Coach Positions in: Aliquippa, PA 15001 Ambridge, PA 15003 Monaca, PA 15061 PA Connecting Communities is seeking dedicated and motivated Job Coaches to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in achieving meaningful, competitive employment throughout the Beaver County area. The mission of PA Connecting Communities (PACC) is empowering individuals with special needs and/or needing accommodations with information and opportunities to improve their quality of life. PACC accomplishes this by developing social programs to build friendships, promoting the arts, participating in community programs, encouraging inclusion, and creating competitive employment opportunities. Our vision is to create social change through vocational (on-the-job) training programs, social and cultural activities, recreational and fitness opportunities, and remedial/academic classes for the disability community. PACC follows the principle of "Everyday Lives." The Job Coach plays an essential role in supporting this mission by assisting individuals in developing work readiness skills, securing employment, and maintaining successful community-based jobs. This position works closely with participants, families, school districts, the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, veterans, and other referral sources to provide individualized career development services. Duties include, but are not limited to: Conducting work readiness assessments and identifying vocational interests Assisting individuals with resume development and job searches Providing job placement assistance and on-the-job training Teaching and reinforcing job tasks and workplace expectations Collaborating with each individual's team, including participation in annual ISP meetings when applicable Supporting individuals in developing independence and workplace confidence Maintaining timely, accurate documentation in accordance with company policy Communicating effectively with employers, referral sources, and team members
