Job Description

Overview Senior Specialist, Home & Community Services Status:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location:
Camp Hill area
Pay:
$19.75 per hour
What We're Looking For:
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or aging populations
  • Valid driver's license with at least 6 months of driving experience
  • Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
  • 18 years of age
  • Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
Preferred:
Associate degree or technical certification in a related field
    Preferred:
    Familiarity with Chapter 51, 2380, and 6400 regulations As a Senior Specialist in Home & Community , you'll support individuals in living safe, meaningful, and independent lives. You'll help coordinate supports, build strong relationships, and guide skill development while promoting dignity, choice, and personal growth.
    What You'll Do:
    • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with individuals receiving supports
    • Support personal growth, independence, and life skill development
    • Coordinate medical needs including scheduling appointments, transportation, and follow-up care
    • Help ensure safe, clean, and compliant home environments and assist with maintenance requests as needed
    • Develop and monitor individualized goal plans focused on skill-building and independence
    • Partner with individuals, families, team members, and community resources
    • Support program outcomes and quality improvement initiatives
    • Encourage engagement, confidence, and decision-making skills
