Hillside Inpatient Facility, East Stroudsburg, PA Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overview Pyramid Healthcare's Recovery Support Services Division is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders. This role is essential in guiding clients through recovery by serving as a mentor, advocate, and motivator. The CRS uses lived experience and a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach to help individuals maintain sobriety and achieve long-term recovery. This position supports clients across traditional CRS services and Center of Excellence (COE) programs focused on Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Key Responsibilities Provide peer-based recovery support across the continuum of care Facilitate one-on-one recovery sessions focused on client goals and wellness Assist clients in accessing community resources and recovery supports Support engagement in sober activities, education, and employment opportunities Collaborate with treatment teams, families, and community partners Participate in team meetings and advocate for recovery-centered care Help clients rebuild relationships and strengthen support systems Connect individuals to support groups, social services, and job resources Deliver recovery education based on individual needs Monitor progress and assist with referrals when needed Maintain accurate documentation and recovery plans Attend trainings and continuing education Required Qualifications Active Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification (required) Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment

High School Diploma or GED Preferred:

1+ year of direct peer support experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of addiction and recovery principles Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work in a team environment Knowledge of professional ethics and confidentiality Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to motivate and engage individuals at various recovery stages Continuing Education Requirements 18 hours annually 30 hours over a 2-year certification cycle (per PCB standards) Why Join Pyramid Healthcare?
