Overview:

The Employment Specialist/Job Coach works one to one with individuals with a disability to find and maintain employment in the local community. Assists in all phases of employment, including filing out an online job application, successfully interviewing for a job, and learning to do various job tasks. Successful candidate will be self-directed, professional, and have great communication skills.

Key skills will include:

Ability to work with local business community. Promote agency's mission and program goals . Understand local job market to effectively place job seekers in competitive employment positions. Completes documentation and paperwork accurately, timely and professionally to ensure compliance with established guidelines. Good organizational skills are key to managing job placements throughout Lebanon County. Able to work independently. This position will require completion of the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) certificate or becoming a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) within 9 months of hire.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred, or high school diploma with 1 year experience working with adults with an intellectual disability. Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
