About the Position The Opportunity Club is seeking an organized, motivated, and collaborative Employment Services Branch Lead to help lead and grow our supported employment services department for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both people and administrative systems. The Branch Lead will help oversee the day-to-day operation of our employment services, support Job Developers and Job Coaches, monitor client progress, develop community and employer relationships, and work closely with administrative staff to ensure our services remain organized, responsive, and compliant. The Branch Lead will be responsible for the growth and development of the branch, through hiring and the development of employees and in the administration of new client referrals. This is a part-time leadership position and may be held alongside another position within The Opportunity Club. Current TOC employees are encouraged to apply. This position will have a home base at our SW Portland office. Work will be performed in the community, at local businesses, and with our clients; some work may be performed at home. This is considered a hybrid position of remote and in-office obligations. What You'll Do Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination for TOC's employment services. Work alongside our New Hire Coordinator to interview prospective employees and facilitate their onboarding. Help develop and maintain an organized queue and workflow of client referrals and those currently receiving Job Development and Job Coaching services. Maintain professional correspondence and communication with clients' support teams to set up employment services with TOC, maintain services, manage grievances, and discuss areas of improvement via email, phone calls, and support meetings. Support and guide Job Developers and Job Coaches in overcoming barriers and promoting progress with client employment goals. Help ensure services are delivered according to each client's ISP, Career Development Plan, authorizations, employment goals, and any other related support documentation. Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure required employment documentation is accurate, timely, and complete in accordance with our filing standard. Review program documentation and address patterns of missing or inadequate documentation with staff. Help reinforce consistent workflows, procedures, expectations, and quality standards for the employment branch. Build and maintain relationships with local case management, employers, businesses, community partners, and support teams for an established, professional network of contacts. Help staff build and implement person-centered skills to identify creative employment opportunities based on clients' strengths, interests, abilities, and support needs. Monitor successful job placements, employment retention, and ongoing Job Coaching needs for continued career satisfaction and success. Promote the development of natural workplace supports and appropriate fading of paid Job Coaching when possible for increased independence. Support your team of employment specialists by maintaining monthly one-on-one meetings to review accomplishments, areas of improvement, struggles, and staff support needs. Facilitate regular employment-team meetings and communicate program needs, concerns, and successes to TOC leadership. Assist, monitor, and promote ongoing training of employees working within employment services. Help identify opportunities to improve, expand, and strengthen TOC's employment program. Participate in local IDD Resource Fairs and attend networking events that will promote our agency and the services we provide. Additional duties as assigned. Experienced in supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, developmental disability services, program coordination, case management, staff leadership, or a related field is strongly preferred. Compensation & Growth The starting range for designated Branch Lead hours is $22.00-$26.00/hour , based on relevant experience and qualifications. The Branch Lead will also be eligible for a quarterly performance incentive of up to $500 based on overall branch performance, including service quality, documentation/compliance, client progress, successful employment outcomes, employer/community relationships, and effective program organization. Employees who hold another position within TOC may continue working in that position at its established rate, with designated Employment Branch Lead hours compensated at the Branch Lead rate.
