In this role, you will play a pivotal part in empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve meaningful employment. Your expertise will help bridge gaps in employment opportunities, especially for those with developmental disabilities, autism, or from underserved communities. Using your strong communication and coaching skills, you will guide clients through the employment process, develop tailored job placement strategies, and foster lasting relationships with community partners. Duties Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify employment goals, skills, and barriers Develop individualized employment plans that align with clients' strengths and aspirations Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance job readiness and workplace skills Assist clients with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies Collaborate with employers, community organizations, and service providers to facilitate job placements Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws while advocating for client rights Maintain detailed case management records and document client progress using Microsoft Office tools Deliver culturally sensitive services tailored to diverse communities and individuals with disabilities Lead workshops on workforce development topics such as addiction counseling, social work practices, and social services Recruit new clients through outreach efforts within underserved populations and community events Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism in a social services or workforce development setting Strong knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and best practices in client advocacy Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, training, and developing tailored employment strategies Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting purposes Background in case management, client communication, interviewing techniques, and client documentation Familiarity with addiction counseling principles and social work practices is a plus Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Excellent writing skills for preparing reports, summaries, and training materials Join us to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals unlock their potential through employment!
