Job Summary:

The Mobility Coach is responsible for providing family-centered coaching to low-income individuals/families within BGCAP's service region, including assessments, plan development(s), advocacy, advising, service coordination, follow-up, and performance reporting. Mobility Coaches provide awareness of BGCAP services and coordinates with agency team members and community partners to provide holistic services that provide an opportunity for a pathway out of poverty.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is preferred; OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Able to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and active listening.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic databases
• Respect to diversity.
• Pass criminal background check and alcohol/drug screening.
• Must have reliable transportation.
