TheDonald P.BellisarioCollege of CommunicationsInternship andCareerPlacement Office is seekinga PAID content editor/events assistant for our first communications-specificinternship/careerfair, COMM Careers in the Capital, November 11, 2026, with the possibility of extension into the spring semester, covering our largest two internship/career fairs: JobExpo.



COMM, Jan. 29, 2027, and Success in the City, Feb. 10, 2027. We are seeking the right content editor/event planningassistant that can take our three internship/careerfairs to the next level! Think you have what it takes? The position requires strong computer skills; InDesign skills are necessary.



The right candidate must have exceptional editing skills along with strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. This position also requires someone who knows how to multi-task and work under tight deadlines. If you are personable, full of energy, and think this sounds like fun, then you should apply. Flexibility in your schedule is a MUSTwith an approximate start date of October 1, 2026,and ending February 26, 2027. Only serious students willing to put in at least 5 - 8 hours per week should apply. The time commitment increases prior to the kick-off of each event (up to 30 hours/week prior to andthe week of each event). Priority will be given to candidates who anticipate a very light spring academic schedule and/or December 2026 graduates.

Events Assistantresponsibilities:

Edit final event program for each event Communicate directly with registered recruiters for each event to make sure their needs are satisfied and they are informed about the event Assist in the coordination and execution of each of the events Attend all internship/career fairs:

Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $12.00/hourly
