Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRP Advocate/Counselor to join our team in supporting individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities and autism. In this role, you will provide vital advocacy, counseling, and case management services to empower clients to achieve their personal and employment goals. Your work will foster independence, promote community integration, and ensure clients receive comprehensive social services tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Advocate for clients' rights and needs within employment, social services, and community settings, ensuring access to resources and accommodations. Provide counseling and coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, supporting their personal development and workforce participation. Conduct assessments to identify client strengths, challenges, and goals related to disability support, workforce development, and social integration. Develop individualized plans that incorporate addiction counseling, social work principles, and case management strategies to promote client success. Facilitate training sessions, mentoring programs, and skill-building workshops focused on employment readiness, social skills, and self-advocacy. Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and service plans using Microsoft Office tools or specialized case management software. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations—to coordinate comprehensive support services for diverse populations. Skills Strong knowledge of employment & labor law as it pertains to disability rights and workplace accommodations. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in social services or workforce development settings. Proficiency in addiction counseling techniques combined with teaching and mentoring skills to foster client growth. Excellent written communication skills for report writing, case documentation, and client correspondence. Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations with sensitivity and respect. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting, and training materials creation. Experience in coaching, training & development programs aimed at enhancing employability skills among clients with disabilities. Strong case management abilities coupled with client communication expertise to support ongoing progress tracking. Pay:

$31.87 - $35.68 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 20.0 per week
