Senior Coordinator, Recruitment and Employer Relations Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) —

At the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), we are on a mission to change the world through education. As our Senior Coordinator, Recruitment and Employer Relations , you'll serve as the operational engine of our Career Services Office (CSO). You will build partnerships with 1,100+ top employers, coordinate dynamic career events, and directly mentor future leaders in education.
What You'll Do Build Employer Partnerships:
Act as the primary point of contact for employers, managing job postings, database records (using Symplicity), and outreach campaigns to expand recruitment pipelines.
Produce Career Events:
Lead end-to-end event planning for annual career fairs, expert panels, and employer info sessions (in-person, hybrid, and virtual).
Guide & Advise Students:
Provide 1-on-1 career coaching to students and alumni (3-10 hours/week) to support their professional paths.
Drive Data & Communications:
Track engagement metrics to guide strategic decisions and design compelling communications for students and external partners.
What We're Looking For Experience:
4+ years of relevant experience in operations, customer service, project management, or event coordination.
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with office tools, databases, and a strong interest or experience with career platforms (e.g., Symplicity, Handshake).
Communication & Collaboration:
Outstanding written/verbal skills with a high degree of tact, detail orientation, and professionalism.
Flexibility:
Ability to occasionally work early morning, evening, or weekend events as needed.
