About Global Tech College Global Tech College (GTC) is an accredited online career college offering career-focused education designed to prepare students for employment and advancement in their chosen fields. GTC serves students throughout the United States through its online learning environment. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented Job Placement Coordinator to support our students and graduates in securing employment related to their field of study. Position Summary The Job Placement Coordinator is responsible for assisting students and graduates with their transition from education into employment. This is a hands-on placement position requiring active student engagement, employer outreach, job development, interview coordination, employment follow-up, and accurate documentation of placement outcomes. The coordinator will also maintain career-services and placement records in accordance with institutional policies and applicable accreditation requirements, including requirements established by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training). We are seeking a candidate that has Experience with an ACCET-accredited institution Key Responsibilities Student & Graduate Placement Proactively contact students approaching graduation to begin the career-readiness and job-search process. Conduct individual career and employment consultations with students and graduates. Assist graduates in identifying employment opportunities related to their program of study. Assist graduates with completing and submitting employment applications. Establish weekly job-search and application goals with graduates and follow up consistently on progress. Maintain regular communication with graduates until employment outcomes are established and appropriately documented. Placement Verification & ACCET Documentation Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain accurate placement records. Contact graduates and employers as necessary to verify employment. Obtain appropriate documentation supporting employment and placement outcomes. Document job titles, employers, employment start dates, job responsibilities, and other information needed to determine whether employment is related to the graduate's training. Conduct required follow-up after employment to verify continued employment and placement status. Maintain complete, accurate, organized, and auditable placement files. Assist management with placement reports and information required for ACCET reporting and institutional compliance. Ensure placement documentation is updated promptly and consistently. Work closely with academic, student services, compliance, and administrative personnel to ensure accurate graduate information. Qualifications Required Associate degree or higher, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Experience in career services, recruiting, staffing, workforce development, employment services, college student services, or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating regularly with employers and graduates. Ability to independently manage a large caseload and multiple priorities. Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM systems, spreadsheets, online job boards, and virtual communication platforms. Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records. Strong commitment to achieving measurable employment outcomes for graduates. Preferred Previous experience working in career services or placement for a career college, vocational institution, technical school, or higher education institution. Experience with an ACCET-accredited institution or another accredited career college. Knowledge of accreditation requirements relating to graduate employment and placement documentation. Previous recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or employer-relations experience. Experience developing employer partnerships. Familiarity with Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and other employment platforms. Experience working with online students or graduates located throughout the United States.
Pay:
$47,000.00 - $47,500.00 per year
