No Position Purpose:
Dartmouth College Counseling Center has an opening for a Suicide Prevention & Outreach Specialist/Counselor. This position will further our already existing campus-wide suicide prevention program. The individual in this position will work with the Suicide Prevention team to plan, design, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive suicide prevention program, as well as provide counseling to Dartmouth students. Education and Yrs Exp:
PhD plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications -
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Master of Social Work (MSW), MA in Counseling from CACREP program, Doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.
D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Two years direct clinical experience (can include internship). Demonstrated competency, experience, and commitment to issues of diversity in the delivery of clinical services and in outreach/programming. Professional experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating community health programs. Experience working in a multidisciplinary college/university counseling center setting. Candidates must hold a New Hampshire license or be eligible for licensure within two years of hire. The license must be awarded no later than three years after the date of hire.

Ability to effectively establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within a diverse multicultural environment.
