BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, physical, and social/emotional growth. Enable students to developpetencies and skills to function successfully in society. The MTSS Coach will provide job embedded professional development and procedural support in the areas of classroom management, Response to Intervention, Social-Emotional Learning, and Restorative Practices. The MTSS Coach will be responsible for developing, leading, implementing, monitoring, and collaborating with other educators in the school-wide integration of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support in addition tomunicating with parents and working on campusmittees.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Knowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) for assigned area. Knowledge of curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and Knowledge of effective instruction and evaluation Knowledge of continuous improvement Skill in using technology as a learning tool in all content Skill in engaging others in collective inquiry and problem Skill in collecting, analyzing, and using data to support student Skill inmunicating effectively, both verbally and in Ability to collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional Ability to organize and prioritize work Knowledge of the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support framework and its

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements and a minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience. A Master's degree is preferred.

Salary Range:

$57,598 to $69,772 Per Year
