We're looking for a patient, encouraging, and dependable Job Coach who enjoys helping people learn and succeed. You'll work one-on-one with people with disabilities who have been placed in jobs with local employers, helping them learn their responsibilities and become more confident and independent at work. You'll also assist with vocational training classes that help prepare people for employment. Previous experience working with people who have disabilities preferred but not required. Previous job coaching experience is not required. We will provide training and pay for required certifications. What You'll Do Coach clients at their workplaces and help them learn job duties and workplace routines. Help clients develop communication, workplace, and independent employment skills. Encourage independence while providing the support each person needs. Work with clients and employers to help resolve challenges on the job. Assist with vocational training and job-readiness classes. Communicate with our team about client progress and support needs. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time. Travel to client workplaces and training locations in the local area. What We're Looking For Patient, positive, dependable, and comfortable working with people with different abilities and needs. Someone who enjoys teaching, encouraging, and helping others learn. A good communicator who can work comfortably with clients, employers, and team members. Organized and able to complete required documentation accurately and on time. Comfortable using computers, email, and online systems. Able to work independently and travel throughout the local area with reliable transportation. Experience in education, special education, vocational rehabilitation, disability services, job coaching, or social services is helpful but not required . We will train the right person and pay for required certifications.
