Department Adult Education Position Type Non-Exempt Employment Status Part-Time Salary $25.00 per hour Open Date 11/12/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary The purpose of this position is the assist the distance/remote learning program specifically for students enrolled in the ESL program. Will assist with supporting distance learning, digital navigation, digital literacy and career navigation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or related field. One (1) year in higher education or alternative training programs as a career counselor, job training coach, and/or case manager. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Experienced with student recruitment, academic advising or workforce placement. Ability to manage a small case load of students pursuing career pathway. Ability to create courses, manage distance learning programs. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in related field. Special Instructions to Applicants This is a security-sensitive position. Job Duties Job Duty Support distance learning program and coordinator in recruiting and managing student enrollment. Collect and review weekly and end of the month program reports. Job Duty Support and assist with distance learning program orientation, enrollment and outreach efforts with flexible work schedule including evenings. Job Duty Manage small case load of students enrolled in Career Pathways programs to include advising, and tracking student success and challenges.
