The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the overall operations and maintenance of the Sports Complex and the participants therein. High school diploma or GED required. College Preferred. Preference given to applicants who have experience working in a gym setting. Demonstrate oral communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with students, staff and faculty. Demonstrate general knowledge of gym equipment and supplies. Ability to set priorities and schedule tasks accordingly. Ability to execute normal physical tasks energetically. Primary responsibility is to assist faculty supervisors. Have facilities and equipment set up before class is schedules to begin. Check out equipment to students, staff and faculty. Monitor the gym and dressing rooms. Keep the supply room in order and inventory supplies. Check all participants for current ID's Report any accident or injury to the Campus Police and fill out the accident report. Other duties as assigned or approved by the Department Chair.
