Are you passionate about inspiring people to be the best they can be? Then join us! We are searching for a full time: Substance Use Counselor . Our programs provide outpatient substance use counseling services to adults with substance use issues. Hours 7:00am to 4:00 M-F. Please note this position is grant funded and ongoing employment is dependnet upon future funding. This position may end 09/26.
Qualifications Include:
LCDC/LCDC
Intern in Texas and previous experience counseling in the substance use field preferred. Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record. Drug screen and background check required. Skills Ability to professionally communicate, maintain calm in tense situations, organize, write well for client documentation, ability to build rapport with our clients and inspire them to build confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself. Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
