Resume This position is for approximately 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Position Overview The Specialist, Career Center assists students in exploring career pathways and preparing for postsecondary education and workforce opportunities. This position coordinates career-related events, develops partnerships with local businesses, and supports students with career planning, assessments, and college readiness processes. Key Responsibilities Assist students in researching career pathways, training programs, and employment opportunities. Coordinate career and college preparation activities including job readiness workshops and career fairs. Develop relationships with local businesses and community partners to support internships and job shadowing opportunities. Collaborate with counselors to support student career goals. Provide assistance with college preparation including FAFSA, applications, scholarships, and admissions testing. Proctor career and college readiness assessments. Organize events that promote career awareness and postsecondary planning. Maintain records related to student participation and program outcomes. Conduct presentations and workshops for students and families. Participate in meetings and professional development activities related to college and career readiness programs. Perform other related duties as assigned.
