Job Description
New River Valley Community Services is seeking a Regional Peer Recovery Specialist! The Regional Peer Recovery Specialist plays a vital role in supporting individuals in recovery and their families through the planning, development, and implementation of training and support activities. This position includes weekly visits to Marion State Hospital to facilitate group activities, provide peer support, and coordinate discharge planning with a multidisciplinary treatment team. The Specialist also leads a Regional Recovery Steering Committee, organizes monthly recovery support meetings, and builds strong partnerships with community recovery programs and advocacy organizations. •$1,000 Sign on Bonus•
