Job Description

Matern Staffing is seeking a compassionate and organized Career Services Specialist / Case Manager (job order 4233) for our client, helping youth, adults, and dislocated workers overcome barriers and take the next step toward meaningful employment. This role combines career counseling, case management, job search support, and community relationship-building to connect participants with the education, training, and resources they need to succeed. Salary:
$20/hr
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, with potential for occasional weekend hours based on business needs
What You'll Do:
Provide individualized case management, career counseling, assessments, and job search support Determine participant eligibility and develop service plans based on individual goals and needs Connect participants with education, training, supportive services, and community resources to overcome barriers to employment Build relationships with local employers, workforce partners, and training providers to create employment and training opportunities Maintain accurate case notes, participant records, progress documentation, invoices, and required program paperwork Support participants throughout the program and guide them toward successful transition into unsubsidized employment
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; background in social work, rehabilitation, or workforce development preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse populations Excellent organization, time management, and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online data-tracking systems Valid Virginia Driver's License with an acceptable driving record About our
