Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Coach to support individuals in their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves mentoring and guiding individuals in participating in community activities. The Coach will play a vital role in empowering clients through effective counseling, teaching, and support strategies. Duties Provide mentorship and coaching to individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and autism Assist clients with navigating community opportunities Maintain accurate documentation of progress, goals, and service plans Stay current on best practices in social work, mentoring, and related fields to continually improve coaching strategies Qualifications Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching roles within social services or workforce development settings Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism is highly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse populations Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team Demonstrated commitment to social work principles, inclusion, and client empowerment Relevant certifications or educational background in social work, counseling, or related disciplines are advantageous This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals on their journey toward independence and success.
