Immediately Job Description Lamoille Union Middle School is looking to hire a Behavior Interventionist to serve in the role of 1:1 BI and "Pod" or small group BI supporting identified students throughout the day. This position will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Specialist. We will train the right person.Skills:
- Establishes relationships and communicates with teachers and administrators,
- Implement and takes data relevant to the student specific behavior plan
- Attends required meetings that discuss behavior,
- Must be willing to receive training in Handle with Care strategies,
- Work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of a team,
- Ability and willingness to think "outside the box"
- Dedicated to the success of children
- Participate in professional development activities to improve skills related to job assignment
- Maintain positive relationships with the building administration, parents, other staff, and students in the buildings
