EASE is hiring professionals to help participants secure and maintain housing or find and keep meaningful employment through Washington States Foundational Community Supports (FCS) program. Youll join a local nonprofit committed to participant choice, dignity, and long-term stability. This is community-based, documentation-driven worknot caregiving, therapy, or a desk-only position.

Community-based throughout Pierce County, operating from Puyallup About the work Foundational Community Supports is a Washington State Medicaid program that funds ongoing, practical support for people facing complex barriers to housing or employment. EASE is contracted to deliver these services in the community. In either role, you will: Meet participants at appointments, at job sites, or in other community locations. Help each person take the next practical step toward their housing or employment goals. Complete clear, detailed case notes in our database within 24 hours of every service. You will be assigned to either a housing caseload or an employment caseload, based on organizational needs and your interests and strengths. Choose your career path Supported Housing Professional Help people experiencing homelessness or housing instability find, move into, and maintain housing of their choice.

Responsibilities may include:

Searching for housing and assisting with applications, credit checks, and paperwork Communicating with landlords and property managers Coordinating transportation and move-in support Providing practical life-skills coaching Conducting ongoing check-ins that support housing stability Supported Employment Professional Help peopleoften including individuals with behavioral health needs or substance use disordersfind and maintain competitive employment in the community.

Responsibilities may include:

Identifying job goals that align with each participants strengths, schedule, and income needs Assisting with job searches, applications, rsums, and interview preparation Building relationships with employers Providing ongoing support after a participant begins working Responsibilities shared by both roles Meet with participants weekly at agreed-upon days, times, and locations Complete participant-related tasks promptly and follow through on commitments Document every service accurately by end of day Attend the daily 9:00 a.m. team check-in and required trainings Develop positive relationships with community partners Work independently while managing a fast-paced caseload Communicate clearly with participants, colleagues, and partner organizations What this role isand is not This is a hands-on, community-based support role focused on coaching, coordination, advocacy, and accurate documentation. It is not caregiving. EASE does not provide caregiving services. It is not therapy or counseling. Team members provide practical support within a Medicaid-funded program. It is not office-only case management. Most workdays involve meeting participants in the community. It is not a slow-paced desk role. The work is meaningful, active, and documentation-driven. Comfort using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; internet research tools; and a company laptop Strong communication, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills Close attention to detail and dependable follow-through Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it during paid training Reliable MondayFriday availability, including the required 9:00 a.m. team check-in A college degree is not required.
