POSITION OVERVIEW
The Life Skills Coach position is a key role in which staff train students to live more independently. You will work in a college residential setting after classes and on weekends to teach real-life skills and promote a fun college experience for the students.
Schedule Options:
Saturday:
7:00 AM to 2:00 PM | 2:00 PM to 9:00
PM Sunday:
7:00 AM to 2:00 PM | 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Option to work 1-3 consistent shifts)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support students with IDD in a college residential setting at an 8:1 student-to-staff ratio Train students in cooking, cleaning, safety, time management, and social behavior to promote independent living Build positive working relationships with students to foster growth and development Complete communication and documentation to promote effective team collaboration Take students on off-campus activities to provide a great college experience If you have a background in special education, caregiving, social work, psychology, or Christian ministry, apply today to see if your skills and talents can help meet the needs of our growing team. - Not the right position for you?
