Job Description

Shift Requirements:
24 Hour Duties and responsibilities: During this time care giver is responsible for providing all aspects of homemaking for the residents. This includes but is not limited to keeping the common areas of the home clean, uncluttered, pleasant, and free of tripping hazards, plant and pet care, cooking healthy and tempting meals; assisting with phone calls or mail; and generally being on the look out for needs of any sort and meeting them. Charting or documenting thoroughly through shift. Personal care of residents may include assistance with any or all of the following
ADLS:
Bathing orshowering Toileting Brushing teeth, mouth.and oral care Assisting with meals Dressing Laundry,mending, ironing Transferring Social interaction, phone calls, mail, computer Monitoring of behaviors, skin integrity, incontinence changes. Reporting/Charting Daily Pet Care Our care providers become the family of the residents they serve. They become very astute at observing changes in our residents' health and mental status, and are the first line of defense in keeping our residents happy and healthy. The residents need you to constantly be observant, and to act on your observations. As a care provider, you may be in a position to encounter some emotional, verbal or physical mistreatment from our residents. Accordingly, you must be very grounded and able to defuse situations that could escalate or remove yourself from the situation until it can be dealt with productively. Pay:
$350.00 - $400.00 per day
