$300 per 24-Hour Shift Golden Hearts, Inc. is hiring dependable and compassionate Caregivers to provide support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential group-home setting. This position is specifically for 24-hour shifts . Employees work a minimum of two consecutive 24-hour shifts , with the opportunity to work up to five consecutive 24-hour shifts depending on availability and scheduling needs. 5 consecutive 24-hour shifts at this time Flexible scheduling available Employees remain at the residential home throughout their scheduled 24-hour shift Exact days can be discussed based on your availability and our scheduling needs. Compensation Starting at $300 per 24-hour shift About the Home This position supports four easy-going adult residents in a comfortable residential home. Our residents have established routines, and our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and welcoming home environment while supporting their independence and individual needs. This position can be a great fit for someone who prefers longer shifts followed by multiple days off rather than a traditional 8-hour, five-day workweek. Primary Responsibilities Provide supervision, support, and companionship to residents Assist with activities of daily living and personal care Assist with self-administration of medications according to agency procedures Prepare meals and snacks Complete routine household cleaning and laundry Assist residents with activities and community outings Follow individual support plans and established household routines Complete accurate caregiver notes and required documentation Maintain resident privacy, dignity, safety, and independence Communicate effectively with administration and other staff Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable residential environment Qualifications We are looking for candidates who are: Dependable and punctual Comfortable working 24-hour shifts Able to commit to at least 2 consecutive shifts Patient, compassionate, and respectful Comfortable working independently Able to follow established policies, routines, and resident support plans Responsible with medication administration and documentation Strong communicators Willing to learn and accept feedback Previous caregiving, DSP, assisted living, or IDD experience is preferred, but we WILL train the right candidate. Requirements Must meet applicable requirements for working with vulnerable adults Must be able to pass required background checks CPR/First Aid certification and Current negative TB test Completion of required agency training Reliable transportation to and from the worksite Ability to reliably report for the entire scheduled 24-hour shift Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Why Consider a 24-Hour Shift Position?
